As was to be expected, Sienna Miller’s collection with Marks & Spencer was a sell-out success – and the actress has returned for round two. Last night, Miller celebrated the second instalment of her stylish collection (which is on sale from tomorrow) – and she was the best advert for her own designs wearing a crisp three-piece suit from the collection to the event.
The ensemble was made up of white wide-legged tailored trousers with a matching button-up waistcoat and a fitted blazer, all of which comes to under £300, and would make an excellent investment ahead of party season. Miller teamed the look with an animal-print clutch bag and black peep-toe heels, both of which will also be available to buy tomorrow.
While the summer drop was very boho-inspired, Miller’s second collection is filled with partywear and tailoring – as well as more of the same denim.
“It was an absolute pleasure to be invited back by the M&S team,” Miller said. “I loved working on the debut collection and couldn’t wait to do it all over again. This second collection is very much a party edit for the festive season.”
“It’s got tailoring, faux fur, party dresses, statement prints, embellishment, co-ordinating accessories and also my favourite jeans from the first collection, in two new washes,” she added. “Seeing my designs in the real world is so rewarding. I love how each individual wears and styles them and I can’t wait to see their reaction to round two this winter.”
Miller’s three-piece suit is a great example of those versatile wardrobe heroes that will work everywhere from work to the Christmas party – and if it’s a clue about what the rest of the second drop is going to look like, then we’re in for a treat.
