Frasers Group continues with its ‘next generation’ store opening strategy with the latest high-end Flannels flagship opening in Leeds.
Replacing its existing Leeds store, it becomes its sixth city centre flagship out of a total of 80 locations, joining London, Leicester, Liverpool, Sheffield and Newcastle and comes with the now-standard promise of being an “innovative and exciting addition to the city’s retail scene”.
And it’s big, spanning six floors and 70,000 sq ft. Covering Luxury Womenswear and Menswear to Personal Shopping, Home, Beauty and Active, the store will be home “to an unmatched edit of the world’s top luxury and contemporary designer fashion brands, industry-leading beauty retail concepts, an innovative luxury resale space, [and] full-scale homeware edit”.
It will also include and a new range of luxury services and experiences including a new gym and café partner.
The ground floor features its Luxury Accessories Hall offers a curation of “the most covetable pieces of the season” including Gucci, Saint Laurent, Prada and Bottega Veneta.
The Beauty Hall’s fragrance listing includes Guerlain La Matiére, Creed, Bulgari and Dior Prestige while its Beauty Bar is host to a line-up of brand takeovers throughout the year — starting with Prada Beauty. It also includes the store’s Beauty Changing Room, allowing shoppers to try a vast range of beauty products in privacy, while experts in masterclasses deliver and 1-2-1 appointments.
Flannels Active will take residence in the basement with an edit of “the most in-demand performance brands bridging the gap between the worlds of luxury fashion and sport”. It includes Nike, On, Lululemon, Represent247. The store has also partnered with health and fitness club HiiClub providing a range of workouts.
Across the upper levels, womenswear and menswear edits feature Cole Buxton, Fear of God Essentials, Anine Bing, Represent, Jacquemus and Casablanca while AW24’s picks include Miu Miu, Gucci, Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Moncler, Christian Louboutin, Canada Goose, and Stone Island.
Luxury resale brand Sellier also has a permanent space while there’s a new in-store Tailoring concept from Tom Ford, Brioni, Hugo Boss and more.
Finally, Flannels Junior rounds out the store’s offer, featuring luxury fashion and accessories from Gucci, Burberry, Givenchy and Canada Goose.
