Leeds United have signed former France international midfielder Josuha Guilavogui on a deal until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old was a free agent after leaving Bundesliga side Mainz in the summer.
He started his career with St Etienne and has had spells with Atletico Madrid, Wolfsburg and Bordeaux.
Guilavogui, who won seven caps for France between 2013 and 2015, could make his debut for the Whites in Saturday’s Championship game at Bristol City.
“I had some offers, but nothing that I would say, okay, let’s do it. And when my agent called me and said that Daniel has interest to sign me and watched over me, I said, ‘yeah, let’s go straight, straight to Leeds’,” he told the club website, external.
“Sometimes in life you have some opportunities and you don’t want to miss it. I am really happy to be here.”
