Following Wanna’s move into virtual try-on (VTO) for bags earlier this year, the Farfetch-owned company said that Maison Kitsuné has now launched a VTO experience for its new Edie Bag, coinciding with the product’s worldwide release.
The VTO adds interactivity to the launch campaign and is planned to be featured in pre-order newsletters, on the website, in a selected number of stores, and as part of the social media campaign.
The tech allows shoppers to” explore the Edie Bag on Maison Kitsuné’s website, virtually try it on, pair it with outfits, and assess the fit anytime — enhancing the shopping experience before making a purchase”.
Online shoppers can virtually try the bag in two colours, with an AR try-on and a 3D Viewer for detailed exploration.
Wanna added bags to its VTO tech this spring and only last month announced that it had also added scarves and high boots for AW24.
