It’s SEC Media Days this week down in Birmingham, AL as the college basketball season is right around the corner. First on Tuesday, we heard from Kentucky’s new head coach Mark Pope, which you can listen to here. But we also got the chance to chat with a couple of the dozen new Wildcats on the 2024-25 roster.
Pope brought down a couple of veterans with him to Birmingham: graduate students Jaxson Robinson and Lamont Butler. The two experienced and talented guards sat down with reporters for lengthy interviews where they touched on dozens of topics that ranged from Robinson’s decision to turn down the NBA Draft to Butler’s rap at Big Blue Madness — and everything in between.
To hear our conversations with them both, dive into the interviews below.
