The NFL is heading into Week 5 of the 2024 season. The NFL continues to explore international options for its game. The second game of the season in Week 1 saw the Packers and Eagles playing in Brazil.

One of the leading international sites has been London. The NFL has hosted a game there yearly since 2007 other than 2020. It has happened so much that anytime there are NFL expansion conversations, fans often wonder if the league will expand across the pond and put a franchise in the UK. 

Week 5 will see the Vikings taking on the Jets, but the game will not be played in either team’s home stadium. They will be heading to England for the first of three consecutive weeks with a game played in London. Here’s all the info you need about where the game is being played.

Where are the Vikings-Jets playing in Week 5?

The NFL typically plays its London games in one of two stadiums. Wembley Stadium or Tottenham Hotspur Stadium usually hosts the NFL teams. Wembley is used for the England national football (soccer) team as well as World Cup and UEFA Euro qualifiers. As you may be able to guess, Tottenham Hotspur F.C. in the English Premier League, plays its home football (soccer) matches there.  

Week 5’s game between the Vikings and the Jets will be at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

What time is the Vikings-Jets Week 5 London game?

There is a five-hour time difference between the Eastern time zone in the United States and “British Summer Time.” Kickoff for the Week 5 game between the Vikings and Jets is set for 9:30 a.m. ET, which would be 2:30 p.m. BST in London.

Has Tottenham Hotspur hosted an NFL game before?

When the NFL started playing games in London, Wembley Stadium was the primary host. Games were held there from 2007-15, with one game being held at Twickenham Stadium in 2016. 

The NFL held four games in London in 2019. The first two were held at Tottenham Hotspur, with the other two at Wembley. 

2024 NFL International Schedule

There are five total international games scheduled for the 2024 NFL season. One already happened with the Brazil game and there will be three games in England over the next three weeks. The remaining game will be played in Germany in mid-November.
