Nick Ball’s WBA featherweight world title defence against Ronny Rios in Liverpool on Saturday will be live on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds.
Liverpudlian Ball, 27, fights on home soil at M&S Bank Arena, placing his undefeated record on the line against 34-year-old American Rios.
Radio commentary and live text commentary starts at 20:00 BST on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra, before switching to BBC Radio 5 Live at 22:00.
Joining Ronald McIntosh on commentary will be two-time featherweight world champion Josh Warrington and former British super-middleweight champion Paul Smith.
Ball is undefeated in 21 fights, with one draw, and has five stoppages in his past eight fights.
He defeated Raymond Ford via split decision in June to win his first world title.
USA fighter Rios is a seasoned contender at super-bantamweight and featherweight with four defeats in 38 bouts, but has fought just twice since 2021.
Ball will be a massive favourite, fighting in his hometown for the first time since becoming world champion.
The undercard includes Jack Rafferty against Henry Turner for the vacant British light-welterweight title and Ball’s stablemate and bantamweight Andrew Cain faces Lazaro Casseres.
