Want to own a part of your favorite Netflix series? If you covet the jeans Elizabeth Debicki wore as Princess Diana on The Crown, or want to take a spin on Eric’s bike from Sex Education, or desire to read an authentic dispatch from Bridgerton’s Lady Whistledown, the As Seen on Netflix store and auction is here for you.
The pop-up shop is headed to the UK for two special in-person shopping experiences. It’ll be open for one day in London and one day in Birmingham, stocked with high-fashion wardrobe items, props, signed scripts, and other memorabilia from some of Netflix’s most popular shows. (Speaking of One Day, you could own Emma’s typewriter!)
The pop-up shops will include items for sale for as little as £1 ($1.33), along with a replica of Charlie’s bedroom from Heartstopper that’s perfect for Instagram photo ops and pretending that you, too, are a sweet teenager in the throes of first love. Proceeds from the auction will go to a leading UK mental health charity, Mind. If you can’t make it in person, a range of items will be available from Oct. 11–21 on Mind’s eBay page.
As Seen on Netflix is “a celebration of incredible fan communities,” said Netflix’s Anne Mensah, VP of UK Content. “Fandom has an extraordinary ability to bring people together, creating connections and community around a passion for stories. Our fans are the heartbeat of everything we do at Netflix, which is why we’re so excited to create this opportunity for fans to own a piece of the shows and films they love, and support the important work done by Mind.”
Mind CEO Sarah Hughes said, “We know that when mental health issues are explored on-screen, they can hold real power in helping us to understand our own experiences. … Every item sold will help us be there for even more people who need us. This includes through our services and network of local Minds, campaigning for change and challenging stigma, to make sure everyone can access the support they need.”
Check out a list of items available online below, and make sure to stop by the in-person stores on Bethnal Green Road in London on Oct. 12 and at Bullring in Birmingham on Oct. 19.
