Moncler is doubling down on its US presence with the planned opening of its largest flagship on one of the world’s key shopping streets — Fifth Avenue in New York City.
It has signed a lease deal for the new flagship that will open in early 2026.
The company said that the move “mirrors Moncler’s commitment to the US market and its dedication to increasing the brand’s global impact and resonance in the country”.
The new location will certainly be something to write home about.
It will be located in the iconic General Motors building at 767 Fifth Avenue and will be the biggest store in Moncler’s global retail network. It will cover over 2,200 square meteres across two floors once the extensive renovations have happened.
The company added that the “prestigious location will offer a unique brand experience not just to New Yorkers but also to communities from around the world to discover, engage, and connect with the Moncler brand”.
The news comes a just a few days after it emerged that LVMH has acquired a 10% stake in the Remo Ruffini-controlled holding company that in its turn controls Moncler.
And just two months ago, Moncler reported profits that beat analysts’ expectations for the first half, thanks in part to an 11% rise in revenues that were lifted by its performance in Asia.
