Vintage fashion resale retailer Known Source has unveiled its first long-term store at London’s huge (and hugely popular) Westfield Stratford mall.
Targeting vintage fashion collectors, it showcases a curated selection of “highly sought-after archive designer pieces” set within a concept space that “offers a unique and immersive experience”.
Featuring handpicked items from vintage dealers, the store presents a curated collection of circular, second-hand products to project its mission to “redefine second-hand fashion, empowering customers with confidence in their purchases while fostering an authentic and trusted community”.
With the store refreshing its collection weekly with new archive pieces, it houses a wide range of brands inlcuding Adidas, Nike, Stone Island, Arc’teryx, Jean Paul Gaultier and Miu Miu together with unbranded graphic T-shirts and specialist women’s vintage suits from dealers including Bad Mouth, Archive 89 and Second Wave.
The retailer said the new store also marks the launch of its first ‘dealer residency’, featuring a custom rail dedicated to a new vintage dealer who will operate a pop-up space in the store on a weekly basis.
The first rail residency has been taken by Archives by Thidvrt, stocking “classic vintage treasures to sought-after designer gems”.
Known Source founder Theo El-Kattan said: “This store marks a major step for us in promoting circular curation and creating a dedicated space for the secondhand fashion scene. A hub that doesn’t believe in individual genius but rather uniting a grassroots collective to spur consumer behaviour change.”
