Dune London has opened its newly-relocated store within Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex. The new store boasts a 1,597 sq ft sales floor and comes fitted with Dune London’s new premium concept, designed in-house by the brand’s store development team.
That concept brings together a neutral colour palette of gold, stone and warm cream tones to enhance its premium footwear and accessories lines, which includes the newly-launched AW24 women’s, accessories and men’s collections.
For women, highlights include the return of the brand’s original 90’s house leopard print, a sculptural new comma heel, an XL version of its woven Deliberate bag and hero colourway night cherry.
For men, signature silhouettes are infused with a contemporary feel for AW24 that fuses “an elegant blend of classic design, modern style, rugged soles, contrasting uppers and premium materials bring new life to the brand’s collection”.
Further store detailing includes textured and tonal hessian-coloured wall coverings combined with bold, spacious seating areas “to accentuate the elevated store design and create an engaging experience for customers”.
Strongly featured visually within the bespoke concept is the brand’s signature DD logo monogram, acting as the “perfect backdrop to showcase [our] premium collections.
The retailer noted the relocation “will help increase its overall visibility in the shopping centre, with the storefront showcasing a striking new window tower with integrated media screen”.
Howard Oldstein, centre director at Lakeside Shopping Centre said: “This move, coupled with their decision to showcase their new retail concept to UK shoppers with us for the first time, highlights the brand’s success within the centre.”
The new store adds to Dune London’s expanding store footprint in the UK, now totalling 52 standalone stores and eight concessions. Globally, locations include five Dutch concessions, two Swiss standalone stores, 19 US Dillard’s locations and 142 franchise sites across 18 international markets, including the Middle East, India and Australia.
