Chelsea are still without a recognised right-back when they take on West Ham United this weekend.
Chelsea welcomed Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Enzo Fernandez, Malo Gusto and Romeo Lavia back to training this week.
Gusto suffered a thigh injury in the draw with Crystal Palace prior to the international break with Axel Disasi slotting in at right-back against Bournemouth.
It had been hoped he would be available for the trip to east London with Reece James is still not ready to return to the side.
But Enzo Maresca confirmed on Friday both Gusto and James are unavailable. Disasi is in line to continue at right-back in their absence.
James meanwhile not featured this season due to a hamstring injury and a suspension carried over from last season. While the problem is not thought to be a fresh setback, his ongoing hamstring issue is taking more time to heal than first thought.
Romeo Lavia is also still not available of today’s trip across the capital.
Having made his return to London on loan from Manchester United, Jadon Sancho came off the bench and provided the assist for Christopher Nkunku’s late winner at Bournemouth on Saturday.
Sancho caused plenty of problems down the left after coming onto replace Pedro Neto in the second-half at the Vitality Stadium and will hope that performance will merit a place in the starting XI in east London.
Joao Felix meanwhile is still waiting for his first start since his return to west London. The Portugal international notched an assist on his debut in the 6-2 win over Wolves, settling for roles off the bench against Palace and Bournemouth.
