American Football is back (sort of)! The 2024 NFL preseason began on 1 August, and the complete 2024 NFL season schedule has been announced, ushering in the unofficial start of the 2024-25 NFL season.

The popularity of the NFL (National Football League) in the UK continues to grow with 3.7m people tuning in to watch the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVIII win against the San Francisco 49ers earlier this year, with a certain Taylor Swift’s appearance giving the end of season game a boost in popularity.

How to watch the 2024 NFL season:

The 2024 NFL schedule was announced in full on Wednesday, 15 May. These are the ten must watch games.

How to watch NFL games in the UK in 2024:

The NFL begins with three weeks of pre-season in August, followed by 18 weeks of regular season, followed by Playoffs, and then a number of elimination games that culminate with the Super Bowl in February 2025.

Sports streaming platform DAZN will have every NFL game of the regular season including the playoffs and the Super Bowl.

The NFL Game Pass on DAZN allows UK fans to stream the games with the real American broadcast, halftime analysis, US commercials and commentary, and can be streamed on five devices at the same time.

This year’s NFL season kicks off on Thursday, 4 September, 2024 with a match hosted by 2024 Super Bowl winners the Kansas City Chiefs. Immediately following the 2024 NFL kickoff game on Friday, 5 September, the Green Bay Packers will play the Philadelphia Eagles in São Paulo. The 2024-25 NFL season will also see international games in London and Munich.

2024 NFL season opening week schedule:

The NFL has announced the Week 1 season opener: Baltimore Ravens at Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, 5 September at 8:20 p.m. ET, broadcast nationally on NBC and streaming live on Peacock. The following day, the Eagles and Packers will play in Sao Paulo, Brazil in a Peacock exclusive game.
