The next stage in Abercrombie & Fitch’s plan to drive UK growth will happen this summer with the US fashion giant opening a key London store in Spitalfields Market.
The latest location on Horner Square in the popular East End market for clothing, jewellery, home items, art and food will offer the brand’s women’s and men’s collections.
The new store will be “a light and bright space” and include omnichannel shopping capabilities “to seamlessly connect customers’ digital and in-person shopping experiences.
To further connect with local customers, the store will also include a unique art installation, showcasing photography from around the capital.
Scott Clarke-Bryan, Managing Director, EMEA at Abercrombie & Fitch Co, said: “[The] location is another great example of our commitment to this market, and we look forward to providing an engaging experience for our customers in Shoreditch.
“Spitalfields Market… couldn’t be more aligned with the lifestyle of our Abercrombie customer.”
The UK growth plan has seen Abercrombie & Fitch recently open a store on London’s Carnaby Street and will include a major flagship on the capital’s Oxford Street next year with a two-storey space on the corner of New Bond Street, formerly occupied by Next.
A&F Co has said its UK business is strong and expects this to continue, forecasting a 2024 net sales rise of 12-14%.
