UK’s ‘sunniest’ destination is so charming – and it’s the perfect holiday spot
In second place was found Folkestone in Kent which scored well for good weather.
The town welcomed 1632.76 average hours of sunshine last year, with Folkestone having plenty to offer, including waterfront walks, independent shops and a host of places to eat and drink.
Moving south and scoring bronze was Hastings. The East Sussex spot embraced 1632.76 hours of sunshine in a year. While Basildon in Essex followed behind with 1618.54 hours of sunshine.
