YSL Beauty is set to launch on Tuesday its latest fragrance with global ambassador, Dua Lipa, as the face of the fragrance.
Dubbed ‘Libre Flowers & Flames’, the fragrance launches both in store and online, as part of the brand’s iconic Libre fragrance family. It draws inspiration from the desert lily, a flower known for its resilience and ability to thrive in the harshest environments.
Reimagined by perfumers Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaïm, the desert lily accord is complemented by a sun-kissed coco palm flower, crafted exclusively for YSL Beauty. These warm and spicy floral notes blend seamlessly with tuberose and orange blossom, creating a scent that is fearless and bold.
The fragrance launches with a campaign, set against the Moroccan desert, showcasing Dua Lipa holding a desert lily against a fiery sunset, symbolizing blazing one’s own trail and embracing a spirit of fiery independence.
Lipa isn’t new to the YSL brand as she’s fronted the Libre fragrance franchise for some time. Earlier this year, she was also named global makeup ambassador for the brand.
