After a busy July launching a new footwear collection and furthering its charity links, ‘force-for-good’ fashion brand Scamp & Dude is back expanding its physical footprint.
Opening its fifth UK store, in Cambridge, this month, the 1,150 sq ft Grand Arcade space will showcase the brand’s collection of sustainable womenswear and kidswear.
It will also feature charity-linked items including the Super Scarf, co-designed last month by actress Giovanna Fletcher, with sales donated to a woman’s cancer charity. In addition, for every ‘Sleep Buddy’ kidswear item sold, another will be donated to a seriously ill child.
The recently B Corp-certified brand, which also has stores in Marlow, London, Manchester and Edinburgh, has so far delivered 32% sales growth in 2024.
Scamp & Dude founder and chief excutive Jo Tutchener Sharp, said: “We’re so excited to arrive in the beautiful and historic city of Cambridge, offering another welcoming space for our community to come together.”
And Martin Macwhinnie, Grand Arcade’s centre manager, added: “One of the UK’s hottest brands, Scamp & Dude’s focus is on fashion with purpose, aligning with our values around sustainability and community.”
Last month, the retailer linked up with Air & Grace to launch a footwear range that “redefines comfort and style”. Under the heading ‘powerfully designed, astonishingly comfortable’, they said the launch “marks a significant moment as both brands, founded by female entrepreneurs, come together to create something truly electric”.
