Italian menswear label Pal Zileri has drawn up an ambitious growth plan for 2025-27, pursuing a set of integrated strategies and aiming to double its revenue in the three-year period.
“The plan we have deployed is based on developing collections that are strongly linked to the brand’s history and DNA. We have worked extensively with our 40-year archives, to reproduce the codes of Pal Zileri in a contemporary way,” CEO Leo Scordo told FashionNetwork.com. “At the same time, we are looking for fresh new ideas, and for this reason we are planning to activate collaborations with leading fashion academies, to bring young talents into the company, mainly in design, but also in merchandising and general staff,” added Scordo.
Distribution-wise, Pal Zileri – currently available at approximately 400 multibrand stores – is aiming to double this number in three years. The label generates between 85% and 90% of its revenue outside Italy, mainly in the UK, Benelux, France, Eastern Europe, and South Korea.
“We will also focus on direct retail expansion, with the goal of opening monobrand stores in Rome, London and Paris,” said Scordo. “We are currently present in leading department stores, like Harrods, El Corte Inglés, Harvey Nichols and Saks, and we will continue to pursue this strategy. In September, we’re opening a shop-in-shop at Printemps in Paris, and two retail corners at Sogo in Hong Kong, the first step towards a future retail expansion in mainland China,” he added.
Pal Zileri’s three-year plan includes investments in marketing and communication aimed at increasing brand awareness, projecting a new image of the company, and attracting a younger audience. The Active capsule collection, presented for a second season with Spring/Summer 2025, is consistent with this objective. It blends sartorial tradition with performance, for an enduring, multi-seasonal wardrobe designed with sustainability in mind. The collection’s models are inspired by the world of workwear, and feature reversible, highly functional stretch fabrics.
For the upcoming summer season, Pal Zileri’s main collection focuses on a pared-down style with straightforward cuts and colours, characterised by clean lines, comfortable volumes, neutral shades and high-quality materials. The colour palette includes earthy tones, ceramic grey, classic black and white, as well as nature-inspired hues such as moss green, ocean blue and sun yellow.
