The Men in Green would like to get the better of England in the fourth T20I to draw the series and travel to the USA for the T20 World Cup 2024 with some confidence. England’s white-ball captain, Jos Buttler, who was not available for selection in the third T20I due to the birth of his third child, is almost certain to miss the fourth game as well.
Buttler was England’s leading run scorer in the second T20I, and his absence will be a big boost for the Men in Green. In his absence, Will Jacks or Jonny Bairstow will open the innings, along with KKR star Phil Salt. As far as Pakistan is concerned, the Babar Azam-led side could drop Shadab Khan from the playing XI and include pacer Naseem Shah in his place.
