LONDON: Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK and Northern Ireland Dr. Muhammad Faisal hosted a luncheon for the Pakistan Women’s cricket team at his residence in London on Tuesday.
The Pakistan Women’s Cricket team is currently visiting England and Wales to play a three-match ODI Series. The English Women are leading the white-ball series by 1-0.
Meanwhile, the seventeen-member women’s cricket team along with the coaching staff attended the splendid luncheon, where they were warmly welcomed by the High Commissioner Dr. Muhammad Faisal.
On the occasion, skipper Pakistan Women Nida Dar presented a team jersey, signed by all the women cricketers, as a souvenir to the High Commissioner.
Later the High Commissioner Dr Faisal expressed his best wishes for the Pakistan women’s stars in the remaining two matches of the series against the English women’s cricket team.
