MIA Golf Technology is to become an authorised reseller of the Zen range of moving floors to its large customer database in the UK and across Europe.
The Zen Green Stage, which offers accurately-adjustable gradients for both putting and hitting full shots, and the Zen Swing Stage moving hitting platform both now form part of the powerful product portfolio sold by MIAGT.
Acknowledged as golf industry experts on training technology for over 30 years, MIA Golf Technology is an authorised reseller of Flightscope products including Mevo+, and official European distributor of several leading golf tech brands including Swing Catalyst, Science & Motion, TruGolf E6 Connect, Capto, HackMotion and Awesome Golf.
The Zen moving floors, which are now in use in 24 countries worldwide, enhance virtually all other golf technologies, transforming the indoor golf experience which up until now has been predominately based on a flat playing surface.
The brothers behind the MIAGT business, Iain and Malcolm Mackenzie, have over fifty years of combined experience in the golf industry.
“Zen’s robust moving floor technology gives you an inherently better golf experience indoors,” said Iain Mackenzie. “The new generation of adjustable Zen Stages have been proven time and again around the world, with numerous Tour players, golf coaches, universities and PGAs now using them.
“The Zens are the most exciting new products to hit indoor golf in recent years, and we are delighted to add this innovative British brand to our portfolio. If our customers plan to take their first steps into the fast-growing world of active playing surfaces, there is nothing out there better than Zen.”
Tour golfer Malcolm Mackenzie is a veteran of over 600 European Tour events, and currently competes on the Legends Tour. “The addition of a Zen moving floor to your studio will be most revolutionary change since you first bought a launch monitor” he said. “I cannot overstate the advantages a Zen gives you whether you are coaching or practicing to improve your own game.
“All the common swing faults are easier to work on if you have adjustable gradients at your disposal, with the Swing Stage under your feet.
“And the Green Stage is simply remarkable – it is more or less infinitely adjustable, and the Zen Master putting surface is the truest and most realistic indoor golf putting surface in the sport by some distance.”
Zen has recently opened a new national showroom in the former iGolfStudio premises in Sheffield, previously operated by MIA Golf Technology.
Zen founder and CEO Nick Middleton said: “We could not ask for more experienced or knowledgeable partners in Europe than Iain and Malcolm Mackenzie. They are among the most-trusted technology specialists in the golf industry. Having built up an enviable track record over the decades, we are delighted that their portfolio of products will now include Zen Green Stage and Zen Swing Stage.”
