Is Kentucky on the cusp of landing its next transfer out of the portal? Mark Pope and his staff are currently hosting Oklahoma’s Otega Oweh on a visit, sources tell KSR.
Oweh, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound combo guard out of Blairstown, NJ, averaged 11.4 points and 3.8 rebounds this past season for the Sooners. He played in 32 games as a sophomore with 28 starts, averaging 24.8 minutes per contest, shooting 49.3% from the field and 37.7% from three.
The former four-star recruit in the 2022 class is coming off visits to Texas A&M and Oregon with Kentucky joining that list of three schools as top contenders.
Oweh will have two seasons of eligibility left at his next stop.
