There is a massive supermarket in the UK that boasts over 60 aisles and nine stores.

The UK’s biggest Tesco is located beside the Walkden Town Centre in Walkden, a town just over seven miles outside Manchester. It is also one of the biggest supermarkets in the UK.

Part of the Extra range, the £20 million hypermarket stocks nearly all of Tesco’s products, with 185,500 sq ft of floor space over a main floor and a mezzanine.

It has 63 aisles for food, home and clothing that are continuously replenished day and night by more than 450 colleagues who work there.

There is also a bulk buy section offering massive versions of your everyday favourites like Douwe Egberts, Yorkshire Tea, Kinder Bueno, Nutella, Walkers and Weetabix.

In case that wasn’t enough there are 11 other shops inside the Tesco: Vision Express, Tesco Mobile, Tesco pharmacy, Costa, F&F, Paperchase, Yo Sushi!, The Entertainer, Homebase, Rugdoctor, and Holland & Barrett.

Car parking for the store is partly placed beneath the store and provides over 970 spaces, there are also spaces in the adjoining retail park. Outside there is a petrol station with 12 pumps.

The Walkden Town Centre is also home to a B&M, Aldi, Papa John’s, KFC, Pets At Home, McDonald’s, M&S, Barnardos, Nandos and more.

The UK’s biggest Asda is in Milton Keynes, Sainsbury’s is in Stanway Essex, Aldi in Leicester, Waitrose in Canary Wharf London, and M&S in Colney London.
