Aldi is adding InPost lockers across more stores across the country to “enhance the shopping experience”.

The new lockers will allow customers to pick up and drop off parcels at their convenience, while picking up their shopping at Aldi.

As part of the expansion, these lockers will be added to the Wickford supermarket, which re-opened after a seven-month refurbishment at the end of 2023.

InPost lockers will also be installed outside the Chelmsford Parkway supermarket.

Richard Thornton, communications director at Aldi UK, said: “Our customers value convenience, which is why we’re expanding the availability of InPost lockers across more Aldi stores.

“By adding lockers at more locations nationwide, customers can now collect or return parcels seamlessly while picking up their shopping at Aldi.”

Britain’s fourth-largest supermarket first trialled the lockers at 22 stores across the country in December 2023.
