The rosters for the 2025 McDonald’s All-American Game are officially out. Kentucky Basketball has one signee set to participate: four-star center Malachi Moreno.
Kentucky currently has the nation’s No. 5-ranked recruiting class in 2025. UK’s other two signees — four-star guards Jasper Johnson and Acaden Lewis — did not make the roster.
Moreno is ranked by the On3 Industry Ranking as the No. 1 center and the No. 28 overall prospect in the 2025 class. He is ranked by On3 as the No. 2 center and the No. 33 overall prospect in the nation.
Kentucky has signed 78 McDonald’s All-Americans since the game began in 1977. Brandon Garrison is the only McDonald’s All-American on Kentucky’s current roster.
Duke and UConn led the way with three commits each. A total of four uncommitted players made the roster, including Kentucky targets Nate Ament and Alijah Arenas.
Kentucky also had its only women’s commit selected to the McDonald’s Game. Kaelyn Carroll, a 6-foot-2 guard from Tabor Academy (Marion MA) made the Girl’s East Roster. Two girls players from the state of Kentucky made the roster. ZaKiyah Johnson (LSU commit) and Leah Macy (Notre Dame commit) were both named to the East Team.
