247, the performance-wear arm of fast-growing British fashion brand Represent, has announced the launch of its first-ever running and training shoes for men and women. 

Launching today (22 January) the ARC-1 Runner and ARC-2 Trainer enters the performance footwear market, accompanied by a 12-piece apparel collection: 247 Archetype.

Represent says the launch follows the success of the brand’s first foray into footwear in December, where it collaborated with global sportswear giant Puma to release the PUMA x 247 Deviate Nitro Elite 3 trainers, “which sold out within minutes after launch”. 

It noted ARC-1 and ARC-2 mark a “significant development of the 247 line as it continues to evolve within the performance and fashion space as a brand of cult status in the running and hybrid training sectors”. 

The ARC-1 Runner “combines innovative engineering and modern design” for a versatile running and lifestyle trainer. Suitable for shorter distances, it’s designed for optimal performance in 5-10 km runs and everyday wear. 

Meanwhile, the ARC-2 Trainer is designed for hybrid gym activities, such as strength training and conditioning sessions, “delivering stability, comfort, and lateral support”.

Represent’s entry into the performance trainer market will also kick off “an exciting set of product developments and releases in 2025”.
