U.S. fashion and accessories brand Kendra Scott announced on Tuesday it will enter the eyewear category, following a new licensing partnership with American eyewear giant, Marchon Eyewear.
The exclusive, long-term licensing agreement will see the manufacturing and distribution of the first-ever Kendra Scott eyewear collection, featuring both sun and optical styles.
The debut eyewear lines will incorporate the Texas-based brand’s signature design elements, including dynamic colors and the use of shapes and materials; embodying feminine eyewear styles, designed to complement the lifestyle brand’s statement jewelry and accessories.
“As we continue to expand into the lifestyle category, we’re excited to partner with Marchon Eyewear to launch the Kendra Scott eyewear collection. With their expertise in quality and an established distribution network, Marchon is the perfect partner as we venture into this new space,” said Tom Nolan, chief executive officer of Kendra Scott.
The debut Kendra Scott eyewear collection will be available in the United States starting September, via Kendra Scott store’s and website, and through select optical retailers and department stores.
