UK tourists heading to Benidorm, Spain, have been issued a warning about soaring ATM withdrawal fees, with some machines charging as much as €6 (£5) per transaction.

Travellers are being urged to carefully select their cash withdrawal points to avoid being hit with excessive charges and poor exchange rates.

TikTok influencer Harry Tokky, who regularly shares travel tips, highlighted the issue in a recent video, advising holidaymakers to avoid independent ATMs, particularly those operated by Euronet.
